Spotlight: One of the leading players amongst his peers, form figures of 1221112 including a Grade 1 win in the Grande Course de Haies des 3 ans on this card last year; reappeared with Grade 3 win at this track (2m2f, heavy; Djin's second, Miss Wood fourth) in September but was surprisingly put in his place by It's Win O'Clock in a C&D Grade 3 (very soft) one month ago; still very much respected.

Spotlight: 0-6 until he took a serious step forward when trouncing Sain D'Esprit in a C&D Grade 3 (heavy; Kivala Du Berlais third, Djin's fourth, Nikkaluokta on the retreat when falling) one month ago; that was an outlier on previous form but he looks the part and this 4yo may only have just come to himself; fascinating to see if he can back it up.

Spotlight: Beat Sain D'Esprit in a track Grade 2 (heavy) last October before flopping behind that one in a Grade 1 (also 2m2f) on this card one year ago; scored a first success at the highest level when narrowly landing the big spring 4yo hurdle over C&D (also very soft) in May but only third, beaten 14l, behind It's Win O'Clock on his return to action one month ago; will likely come on for that and no surprise if he closes the gap.

Spotlight: 3-8 over hurdles and she won Listed and Grade 3 hurdles here in the spring (2m2f, very soft); finished behind Sain D'Esprit and Djin's when fourth on her return here (Grade 3, heavy) in September; may improve for that first start in 123 days but needs to.

Spotlight: Won Grade 3 handicap (2m4.5f, very soft) in May; solid return when second to Sain D'Esprit (also here, 2m2f, heavy) but was beaten a long way when fourth to It's Win O'Clock over C&D (very soft; Sain D'Esprit second, Kivala Du Berlais third, Nikkaluokta fell) last month; needs to bounce back in first-time cheekpieces.

Spotlight: Has taken well to hurdles, with a 3-3 record since switching to this discipline in September; those wins all came here (2m2f, very soft and heavy) at a lower level but he was particularly impressive last time and looks well worth his place in this field.

Spotlight: All starts at 2m2f; progressive sort who recorded a career best when landing a Compiegne Listed event (heavy) last month; this is a different ball game but he likely has more to offer; should stay.

Spotlight: Won a Grade 3 hurdle at Compiegne (2m1f, heavy) just under a year ago; two chase starts here this track this autumn yielded a third in September before he was pulled up in 2m6f Grade 3 last month, when never going; returns to hurdles down in trip but others look safer.

Spotlight: 0-4 over hurdles and could only finish fifth of ten when favourite for a Listed hurdle at Compiegne (2m2f, heavy) last time; still relatively early days but has plenty to find upped to this level and yard has brighter prospects elsewhere.
