Spotlight: Was running a big race when falling at the last on sole point start; stayed further than this when winning on handicap debut at Limerick; looks progressive.
Spotlight: Finished second to an outsider in this race last year; subsequently won a good handicap chase here to earn a significantly higher mark over fences (152); struggled later over hurdles, admittedly in strong races at major fixtures; 7lb off here, trainer runs four.
Spotlight: Won a Gowran maiden (2m, soft) in March; has failed to show any progress in five starts since then; needs to step up on handicap form to feature.
Spotlight: Has been off since winning a 3m handicap at Down Royal over a year ago; rider's claim will help, but those with more recent form may have a big advantage in the conditions.
Spotlight: Ran well in defeat in maidens and novice races for Philip Rothwell; opened account with an emphatic display in a 2m4f maiden at Punchestown last month on stable debut; leading chance if an untried headgear combination helps to produce improvement; however, has never raced on soft or heavy.
Spotlight: Worth considering the strength of fourth place in a valuable Punchestown festival event; midfield over a longer trip at the Galway festival; rerouted after the cancellation at Fairyhouse on Tuesday, each-way chance on his best form.
Spotlight: Better chaser, enjoying a fine spell of form in handicaps in the second half of 2023; generally well below best last season; after a summer break, performed encouragingly at Galway despite a slipped saddle; well treated relative to chase mark of 137.
Spotlight: Won twice for the late Edward O'Grady, appears vulnerable on this mark on overall form; last run was over fences in July.
Spotlight: Point winner; useful novice hurdler in 2021/22 season; missed almost three years; never found his form in a four-race chase campaign last season.
Spotlight: Useful staying novice chaser the season before last and fairly reliable; never managed to hit form last season; questions to answer; good 7lb claimer.
Spotlight: 3-14 over hurdles; hacked up over 2m6f at this venue in February on his return from a 325-day absence; down the field at Naas two weeks later and off since; perhaps unwise to rule out, given that he can run well fresh and has a 2-3 record at this track.
Spotlight: A long time since his last run over hurdles; recent chase form not altogether convincing; up against it.
Spotlight: Followed up a 2m Wexford maiden win with a handicap success at Cork (2m4f) late last year; lost his way in the spring; midfield both starts this term; needs a revival.
Spotlight: Maiden, looks capable of minor success; 6lb out of the handicap; unlikely to make the breakthrough here, unless first-time blinkers have a positive impact.
Spotlight: Has shown decent form on soft ground; trip should suit, and she is only 6lb higher than when winning at Downpatrick in June; set a tough task on the Flat at the Curragh when last seen; could give a good account of herself.
Spotlight: Lightly raced mare with a decent strike rate, winning Hexham mares' bumper, and for current yard twice over hurdles at Wexford, notably final start last term in 3m novice in April (yielding), relishing stamina test; may have needed the race at Galway, plenty to find with Artic Lane and Fighting Fit; tongue-tie fitted.
Spotlight: Decent form in the early stages of last season; has failed to complete in three 2025 races; testing conditions are a concern.
Spotlight: Veteran has been running over fences without much reward; third in a handicap chase at Tramore in May now seems like a flash in the pan; makes stable debut.
Spotlight: Won back-to-back 2m4f handicap hurdles on testing ground at Gowran and Down Royal early in 2023; struggled in a light campaign last season.

The fact that KIR stayed 3m when winning on his handicap debut at Limerick is a big positive given the stamina demands imposed by this track. Fighting Fit did well in difficult circumstances at Galway and is well handicapped relative to his chase mark. The same applies to Sa Fureur, second in this race last year. Waittillitellyou can run well when fresh and likes this track. Theflyingbee has an each-way chance. Reiki Revolution has to prove he handles heavy ground. [Alan Sweetman] Show less
