Spotlight: Promising debut last season for Eve Johnson Houghton in a race that worked out well; had no bother defying a penalty to make it 2-2 for current yard in a 6f novice at Doncaster (good to firm; previous win on good to soft) and brings untapped potential into handicaps.

Spotlight: First and third in 6f novices and left behind his quiet handicap debut when a 20-1 winner at Hamilton (good to soft); raised only 3lb since but this race is far stronger.

Spotlight: Seven of his ten wins have been on the AW but he arrives here in a good run of form and was always prominent when second at Pontefract 13 days ago (6f Class 2, good; fine on softer); could get involved.

Spotlight: Both wins at Carlisle where she got going too late in the day to truly threaten when fourth there 11 days ago (6f, good to soft); looks vulnerable 7lb above her last winning mark.

Spotlight: Goes on most ground; career win number eight when ridden out for a head success at Hamilton (6f, good) nine days ago; that was a Class 5 but he's coped at this level in the past off higher marks; could have a part to play.

Spotlight: Useful form in France but it's been a real struggle in her four races in Britain, all 6f handicaps.
