Spotlight: Won on his handicap and seasonal debut at Redcar (1m, good to firm) in April and followed up there last month (1m, good to firm; made all); this lightly raced 4yo could continue to progress and is firmly in calculations.

Spotlight: Not straightforward (can race awkwardly and be difficult to settle) but she won twice last year (7f, good to firm/good to soft) and returned to form with a neck second of five to a progressive winner at Nottingham (1m, good) this month; might not be far away if backing that up.

Spotlight: All three starts over 1m on Newcastle AW; won on debut in February then finished second to one who was third in a Group 2 at Royal Ascot last week; well beaten at 33-1 in Listed race in April when last seen but gelded since and he retains potential for his respected trainer on handicap debut.

Spotlight: Kept on well to win at Doncaster (7f, good) in March and denied clear run when close third at Newmarket (7f, good) next time; shaped each time as though 1m would suit and he was a respectable sixth of 14 in a higher grade than this over C&D (good to firm) last month; perhaps unsuited by Epsom and/or good to soft ground when below par last time and he's not discounted.

Spotlight: Disappointing at Carlisle only on Wednesday when the soft ground shouldn't have been an issue; it's hard to be confident on the back of that but he went close at Thirsk (1m, good to firm) previously and made the frame in big fields over this C&D last July and October; not ruled out each-way.

Spotlight: Won last summer on first two starts (7f/1m, good/good to firm) and improved for last month's seasonal/handicap debut when going close in a big field at Chelmsford (1m, AW) last time; open to further improvement; chance.

Spotlight: In and out this season but two comfortable wins in the spring (7f/1m, good to firm); fair fifth here (1m1f, good to firm) last time, shaping as though he would appreciate the return to 1m; not ruled out.

Spotlight: Progressive in 7f/6f handicaps at Haydock last summer but campaign ended with two lesser runs in Listed races and she's finished down the field in handicaps on both runs this season; plenty to prove on first crack at 1m.

Spotlight: Capable of a big run if things drop right, as when winning in a big field over C&D (good to firm) last July; fair third at Pontefract (1m, good) in April but soundly beaten the next twice; needs to raise his game.

Spotlight: Four wins last season and he took a step back in the right direction when sixth of 11 at Haydock (1m, good) last month on his second run of the year; however, needs something extra today to return to winning ways.

Spotlight: He ran some reasonable races last April-July and has edged down the weights; however, absent since well beaten on his hurdle debut last August and others have more compelling claims.
